The new multifunctional complex of Saadiyat Grove is one of the largest scale projects in Abu Dhabi so far, by the master developer Aldar Properties. The construction of the AED 8B (USD 2B) development began in November 2019 and will offer 3,706 residential units in total, 170 of which are branded residences. Saadiyat Grove is set to become a mixed-use community in the heart of the beautiful Cultural District on Saadiyat Island. Previously, the developer announced that Saadiyat Grove will be delivered in phases. As a result, the first phase will be handed over in 2025 with the planned construction of 606 residential units and 200 retail spaces. Moreover, the first phase plans to include numerous amenities, such as: • Gyms • Pools • Children’s playgrounds • Landscaped gardens • Running track through the entire community Foundations were completed by Dutch Foundations in 2020 and according to AECOM Middle East, each residence will feature floor-to-ceiling panoramic glazing. The main features of the upcoming grand development of Saadiyat Grove are as follows: • Total area of 6.4 million sq.ft. • 3 and 4-star hotels • Nearly 140 thousand sq.ft. of office and retail space • Location • The new residential complex will be located in the Saadiyat Cultural District, ensuring an easy commute for all its residents. The close proximity to Abu Dhabi city center and Abu Dhabi International Airport means they can both be reached within a maximum of 20 minutes’, while Dubai is about an hour away. Other destinations that are situated within 20 minutes’ include: The Saadiyat Cultural District is home to some of the most famous UAE attractions, excellent academic institutions and luxury hotels: • The famous Louvre Abu Dhabi museum, which opened in 2017. • Manarat Al Saadiyat Center for Creativity, Culture and Events, operating since 2009. • NYU Abu Dhabi - Humanities and Science College with its own campus.
